We are seeking a motivated and talented Machine Learning Software Application Intern to join our team and contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact farmers' lives. This internship offers an exceptional opportunity for students from leading institutions to apply their technical skills in machine learning and software development to create solutions that drive positive social change in the agricultural sector.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Tasks:
Hands-on implementation of solutions to problem statements
Collaboration on architecture and approach finalization
Quick prototypes/proofs of concept to provide empirical evidence of approach
Build on top of prototypes to create a well tested complete product
Responsibilities:
Regular progress check-ins twice a week as per discussed schedule
Timely detailed reports on task approaches, results, analysis and conclusions
Dedicate at least 30 hours a week qualitatively towards providing well researched solutions and completed products
Innovate and research alternative approaches for given tasks
Qualifications and Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Background: Graduate/Undergraduate candidates in the fields of Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and other related fields
Software Programming: Python (Primary)
Machine Learning: At least one of Natural Language Processing, Image Processing, Audio/Video processing
Databases: Ability to work with SQL/NoSQL databases like Postgres, MongoDB etc.
Preferred Skills:
Open source code structure
Ability to think about features and use cases of problems
Keeping updated with latest technology in AI/ML
Ability to write clean code with unit tests and evaluation pipelines
Ability to innovate and research alternative approaches for given tasks
