Responsibilities
This person will be focused on developing and maintaining data pipelines and BI tools.
Work proactively with stakeholders to prepare data solutions for new products and feature releases, with a strong focus on optimizing and troubleshooting any data pipeline issues or nuances.
Work independently, demonstrate creativity, and deliver quick results while maintaining a collaborative, team-player attitude.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, apply best practices learned from other teams, and consistently strive for high-quality deliverables.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility for future reference and team collaboration.
Perform extensive quality assurance (QA) to ensure data quality and integrity. Follow standard processes for reporting any identified issues and collaborate with appropriate data teams to resolve them.

Technical Skills
Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data pipelines, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Proficiency in SQL for data querying and willingness to learn database technologies, including relational, columnar, and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redshift).
Experience with data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or similar BI platforms is a plus.
Desire to leverage scripting and experience with Python programming language (basic to intermediate level).
Eagerness to work with large data sets, data architecture, complex data pipelines, and data management and governance.
Nice to have: experience with DBT.
Knowledge of AWS services like IAM, EC2, EMR would be an added advantage.
