We are seeking a motivated AI/ML Intern to join our AI Solutioning team. This internship offers hands-on experience in developing and implementing artificial intelligence solutions that support research and development projects. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and researchers to learn and contribute to designing, building, and deploying AI models and tools.
A typical day might include the following:
Assisting in the design and development of AI models and algorithms for analyzing biological and pharmaceutical data.
Supporting the creation and maintenance of machine learning models for tasks such as image analysis, natural language processing, and predictive modeling.
Collaborating with multi-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and contribute to project goals.
Learning and applying best practices in AI model development, deployment, and performance optimization.
Staying informed about emerging AI technologies and exploring their potential applications.
Documenting work and presenting findings to team members.
This job might be for you if you:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
Strong interest in AI/ML concepts and their applications in healthcare and biotechnology.
Basic programming skills in Python (knowledge of R or Java is a plus).
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., LanGraph, LanChain, Unstructured) and libraries.
Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, Prompt Engineering (academic or project-based)
Understanding of concepts like natural language processing, predictive modeling, or image analysis is desirable.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and approaches.
Knowledge of AI Agents, Agentic AI patterns, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), MCP, etc.
Understanding of structured and unstructured databases, with basic ability to write SQL queries (experience with tools like Dremio for data retrieval is a plus).
