Role Type: Contract / Internship (High-Commitment)
Location: Bengaluru (On-site)
Duration: 3 Months
Role Overview
This project focuses on large-scale video-based data collection used to train advanced AI and robotics systems. The intelligence of these robots depends entirely on the precision of the video data captured.
As a Training & QA Intern, you play a dual role. Depending on the project phase, you will rotate between leading training batches and performing rigorous Quality Assurance (QA). You are the final gatekeeper of quality; you must command authority, enforce non-negotiable standards, and proactively suggest ways to improve the training program itself.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dynamic Role Execution (Training & QA)
Flexible Rotation: Switch seamlessly between leading training sessions on some days and performing deep-dive QA/auditing on others.
Lead Training Sessions: Conduct classroom-style onboarding for Data Collectors, turning complex guidelines into simple, actionable steps.
Rigorous Auditing: Perform real-time and post-recording audits on video data to ensure 100% compliance with robotics training protocols.
2. Personnel Command & Rule Enforcement
Command the Room: Maintain authority during training, managing group dynamics and ensuring all collectors remain focused and disciplined.
Strict Rule Enforcement: Reinforce "non-negotiable" rules without adding personal interpretation—ensure rules are applied exactly as written.
Objective Certification: Make the final pass/fail call on candidates. You must be comfortable rejecting those who do not meet the bar.
3. Program Insights & Improvement
Feedback Loop: Actively identify gaps in the current training materials or assessment structure.
Strategic Input: Share insights with the leadership team on how to improve the training flow, simplify complex rules, or make the QA process more efficient.
Documentation: Suggest updates to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) based on common mistakes observed during audits.
4. Reporting & Testing
Manage Knowledge Checks: Oversee quizzes and ensure every candidate hits the 85% passing mark.
Accurate Logging: Maintain 100% accurate logs of training outcomes and audit scores using internal trackers.
Required Skills & Attributes
Command & Presence: Strong ability to lead people and maintain authority in a high-pressure environment.
Communication Excellence: Ability to explain technical instructions clearly and present improvement ideas to management.
Decisiveness: Comfort in making firm "fail" decisions; zero hesitation in enforcing quality standards.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to spot patterns in errors and suggest programmatic solutions.
High Stamina: Comfortable with a 6-day work week and 10-hour shifts (9 AM – 7 PM).
