What You’ll Be Doing:
Process EBSD data and generate synthetic microstructures using Ansys tools.
Set up and run crystal plasticity simulations and compute fatigue indicator parameters.
Analyze simulation results, validate observed trends, and support technical documentation.
Contribute to TechDemo presentations and journal publications for product validation.
What You’ll Need:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
Strong fundamentals in solid mechanics and materials behavior.
Basic experience with finite element analysis and numerical modeling.
Knowledge of crystal plasticity, EBSD, microstructure modeling, or fatigue analysis (preferred).
Experience with Ansys Mechanical, CP-FEM, or similar simulation tools (preferred).
Proficiency in Python and strong technical writing skills (preferred).
