We are currently looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join our Global Product Management team within Lonza's Capsules & Health Ingredients (CHI) division. This role will support strategic business initiatives by collecting, organizing, and analyzing market and product-related data to generate actionable business insights. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Management, Market Intelligence, Sales, Strategy, and other cross-functional teams to develop and maintain key databases that support informed decision-making and business growth.

What you will do
Collect, organize, and maintain data for global pharmaceutical market initiatives supporting the Hard Empty Capsules business.
Develop and manage databases for the Health Ingredients portfolio, including UC-II product-related information and competitive intelligence data.
Analyze complex datasets and transform information into meaningful, actionable business insights for product management and leadership teams.
Partner with Market Intelligence, Sales, Strategy, Finance, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Operations, and external intelligence partners to gather and validate data.
Support the development and maintenance of product, market, competitor, and packaging databases to improve business visibility and decision-making.
Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and analytical summaries using Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple information sources and business systems.
What we are looking for
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work with large datasets and convert information into valuable business insights.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Python, or R is considered an advantage.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills with business-level fluency.
Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and stakeholders in a global environment.
