About the Role
Deloitte is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join its Cloud Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions while ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, ECS/EKS, and Auto Scaling.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
Monitor infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK Stack.
Implement cloud security best practices, IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards.
Optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to support cloud-native applications.
Required Skills
3–5 years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Route 53, CloudFront, ELB, and Auto Scaling.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
Strong Linux administration skills.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
Proficiency in scripting using Python or Bash.
Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, Security Groups, NAT Gateway).
Experience with Git version control.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional.
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud governance, security, and compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant AWS certifications are a plus.
