Job Summary:
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for analyzing data to identify trends, assess competitive positioning, and benchmark industry standards to support strategic business decisions. This role involves developing and maintaining descriptive and predictive analytical models that drive Lowe’s pricing strategy, while supporting strategic price tests, price change recommendations, and performance tracking of pricing initiatives. The analyst will leverage statistical and analytical techniques to deliver actionable insights, identify opportunities to improve profitability, and monitor market trends. Partnering closely with Pricing, Product, and Business teams, the analyst will translate pricing objectives into analytics requirements and continuously refine solutions to ensure a best-in-class pricing strategy.

Translate pricing strategy and business objectives into analytics requirements.
Deliver rapid business insights and develop reports on price change analysis based on merchant requests
Execute ad hoc analyses on price, brand, and market performance to inform strategies that strengthen competitive positioning and profitability.
Assist in designing and executing A/B tests, multivariate experiments, and randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to evaluate the effects of price changes.
Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing changes through price tests to inform strategic decisions.
Develop and implement processes for collecting, exploring, structuring, enhancing, and cleaning large datasets from both internal and external sources.
Conduct data validation, detect outliers, and perform root cause analysis.
Execute retail changes while identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement.
Lead communication and progress updates on retail changes and reporting tasks, ensuring a seamless internal experience.
Streamline execution processes and drive automation of end-to-end workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure disciplined adherence to data policies, data quality, data management, and business processes.
Collaborate with teams such as Product, Analytics COE, Merchandising, IT, and others to define, prioritize, and develop innovative solutions.
