Siemens Gamesa's Loads and Controls Engineering team in Bengaluru is looking for an intern to support software development and testing for next-generation wind turbine controls. You will help write MATLAB and Python functions for automated reporting and controller validation, test new and existing engineering tools, debug and improve them with engineers, and contribute to automated build, test and CI/CD processes. You will also maintain technical documentation and user guides, prepare data analysis reports and presentations, and draft controller certification documents. Applicants should be in the 3rd or 4th year of a B.Tech or 1st year of an M.Tech in Control & Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or a related field. No work experience is required, but you should be comfortable with Python, MATLAB, LaTeX, object-oriented programming and software testing, with some exposure to Git or Mercurial, Jira and CI tools such as GitLab, Jenkins or Artifactory. Good problem-solving, communication and eagerness to learn are expected. Full-time internship in an international renewable-energy team.
