Amazon is hiring Software Development Engineers (SDE I) through its University Talent Acquisition programme, for 2026 graduates, with roles across Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai. SDEs at Amazon build products, features and services from scratch at very large scale. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to design and launch new products, build technology in large distributed computing environments, create solutions that run predictions on distributed systems, and develop scalable, fault-tolerant storage, indexing and query systems. You will design and code solutions starting from broadly defined problems and deliver high-quality software in an agile environment. The basic requirement is a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering or a related field, graduating in 2026. Preferred: previous technical internships, experience with distributed systems, algorithms and relational databases, optimisation maths, clear communication, and comfort with ambiguous problems.
