State Street is hiring an Apprentice – Accounting/Finance for its Global Accounting Operations (GAO) team in Bengaluru, also open in Hyderabad. GAO handles the Record-to-Report processes within the Controllers Finance function, and this apprentice will support the Specialised Accounting team. You will work alongside full-time staff on day-to-day accounting for non-hedging FX derivatives, loans, and repo and reverse repo, and on the monthly financial close, including SEC and regulatory reporting. You will also help with process re-engineering, standardisation and automation projects that improve efficiency, reduce manual work and strengthen controls. Candidates should have strong technology and basic accounting skills, intermediate Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and other Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of Spotfire, Tableau, macros, data analytics or BI tools is a plus. An accounting, finance or economics background is preferred, along with attention to detail, reliability and self-motivation. Applications close on 16 October 2026.
