Microsoft is hiring Data Science Interns in India for students pursuing doctoral degrees. Interns join real Microsoft teams to apply data science, statistics and machine learning to business and product problems, working with colleagues around the world while building their skills and professional network. Typical work involves exploring and modelling large datasets, designing experiments and metrics, building predictive models, and communicating insights that shape product and business decisions. Required: currently pursuing a doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science or a related field, with at least one more quarter or semester of study remaining after the internship. Candidates studying for a related master's degree are also considered under the preferred qualifications.
