Greif, a global leader in industrial packaging, is looking for a Data Analytics Intern to join its Data Team in Chennai for a six-month internship that may lead to a full-time role based on performance and business needs. You will help build, test and maintain data pipelines and integrations, support data analysis, reporting, dashboards and visualisation, and improve data quality through profiling, validation and cleansing. The role also covers data governance work such as metadata, data lineage and documentation, plus support for AI projects including AI agents, generative AI use cases and process automation. Candidates should have completed, or be close to completing, a four-year bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, AI, Engineering, Statistics or a related field, with a foundation in SQL, databases, data analysis, programming or AI concepts. Exposure to Python, Power BI, cloud data platforms, machine learning or GenAI is a plus. You must be based in or near Chennai and able to work on-site at the Greif office.
