Safe Security, which builds an AI-driven platform that gives company boards and security leaders a real-time, quantified view of their cyber risk, is hiring a Software Development Engineer I in Bengaluru. You will own feature development end to end, writing clean, maintainable, production-quality code, and take part in architecture and design discussions for scalable, secure, high-performance systems. The role includes reviewing teammates' code, building and optimising cloud solutions on AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3 and RDS, troubleshooting complex issues down to the root cause, and working with product managers and designers to deliver features on time. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field and 1 to 3 years of experience building scalable backend systems in Go, Python or Node.js. You should know REST APIs and microservices, distributed systems concepts (concurrency, caching, async processing, fault tolerance), Docker and Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL databases, and have a working understanding of LLMs and generative AI.
