Valeo is hiring a Software Intern for its R&D centre in Chennai, a fixed-term trainee role in automotive embedded software. You will turn functional requirements into modular, scalable Simulink and Stateflow models and generate production-quality embedded C code from them using Embedded Coder with AUTOSAR. The role includes model-in-the-loop (MIL) testing to check the behaviour and performance of software components early in development, software-in-the-loop (SIL) simulation to compare the generated C code against the model, reviewing generated code for correctness, efficiency and coding-standard compliance, and documenting designs, test procedures and results. The internship suits engineering students or recent graduates in electronics, electrical, computer science or related fields with interest in MATLAB/Simulink and embedded C.
