Cisco is hiring a Software QA Engineer in Bengaluru for its Catalyst 9000 enterprise switching team. You will help define and carry out test strategies for Catalyst switching platforms, covering functional, scale, performance, resiliency, interoperability and security testing, and build and maintain automated test frameworks, including AI-assisted validation. You will work with engineering, product management, architecture and customer support teams to make sure new platforms and features ship with high quality. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electronics or IT and at least one year of experience in software QA, system validation or network testing, with hands-on knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, IPv4/IPv6, QoS, ACLs) and network security features such as 802.1X and MACsec.
