ABB is hiring an Automation Engineer for its machine automation business in Pune (also open for Ahmedabad), an on-site role. You will provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers and application engineers, resolving product and application questions for ABB's machine automation portfolio, and act as the design authority for engineering work of low to medium complexity. Day to day, you will deliver small projects or parts of larger ones cost-effectively, apply design-thinking best practices, and work with customers, sales, engineering, global product support and OEM manufacturing customers, including helping with training sessions. Candidates should have an engineering degree in electrical, electronics, instrumentation or mechatronics and around 1 to 5 years of experience with PLCs, drives, motion control or industrial automation systems.
