Hitachi Energy is hiring an OT Cybersecurity Engineer in Chennai for its HVDC (high-voltage direct current) projects. You will design secure network architecture for SCADA and HMI systems, harden connections into the SCADA network, set up intrusion detection, and validate vendor security patches. You will also own the IT/OT infrastructure for projects, including servers, workstations, firewalls and switches, making sure it is configured, tested, documented and commissioned to the approved architecture. The job includes writing test cases, supporting factory system tests, running security audits of devices and remote sites, and handling backups and patch management. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in EEE, ECE or E&I, at least 2 years in networking or cybersecurity, and strong firewall and network knowledge. SCADA or OT security experience and knowledge of IEC 62443 are a plus.
