ABB is hiring a Software Engineer for its Automation Digital team in Bengaluru on a hybrid model. You will build and improve software components for platform and application management, give project estimates and deliver on time, and solve complex technical issues for the team. Security is central to the role: you will work with product, architecture and security teams on secure coding practices and threat mitigation, and contribute to secure development steps such as threat modelling, code scanning and design reviews. You need a bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering with 3 or more years of application development in Angular, .NET Core, C# and Kubernetes, plus hands-on cybersecurity knowledge of PKI, TLS and TCP/IP. Experience building device provisioning with X.509 certificate authentication for IoT edge devices is highly valued.
