Infineon is hiring a Junior Software Developer on contract in Bengaluru to help modernise its engineering toolchain so that it runs smoothly across Linux, Windows (WSL2) and high-performance compute environments. You will write and improve backend code and command-line tools in Python and C++, refactor older scripts to remove hard-coded operating system dependencies, and work with JSON, XML and YAML so simulation tools can exchange data automatically. You will also build automated validation scripts for Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, write clearer error messages and fix hints for tool users, and write unit tests and help run automated stress tests. Candidates should have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a related field, and be recent graduates or have 1 to 2 years of experience, with strong Python and/or C++ fundamentals and comfort working in both Linux and Windows.
