HARMAN Automotive is looking for an infotainment test engineer with strong Python skills for its Bengaluru team. The engineer will design and run test cases for next-generation car infotainment systems, build and maintain Python test automation frameworks, and carry out functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing on real hardware. Features to validate include media, connectivity, navigation, HMI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Work also involves writing test plans from requirements, debugging and root-cause analysis with developers, tracking defects, and preparing quality reports and release sign-off documents. The role asks for 3 to 6 years of automotive infotainment testing, Python scripting, knowledge of CAN, LIN or automotive Ethernet, Linux/Android-based infotainment platforms and tools such as JIRA, ALM or Azure DevOps. Robot Framework or PyTest experience is a plus.
