Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer II in Gurugram for Amazon Autos, a new Amazon business. You will join a small team of product managers, designers and engineers to design and build new customer experiences, AWS-based services and large-scale back-end web services, helping set up the foundation of a new development team. The work involves turning product requirements into technical designs, solving hard software problems in a fast-paced setting, and putting strong engineering practices in place such as automated testing, code coverage and full CI/CD pipelines. Basic requirements are 3+ years of non-internship professional software development, 2+ years of design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling), and programming experience in at least one language. Full software development life-cycle experience is preferred.
