Park Place Technologies' engineering team in Hyderabad is hiring a Software Development Intern for backend work. You will build and improve production backend services and APIs, contribute to cloud-hosted applications with attention to performance, reliability and security, write unit and integration tests, take part in code reviews, design schemas and write efficient queries for relational and NoSQL databases, and work with front-end engineers, QA and stakeholders to ship end-to-end features. Debugging and root-cause analysis are part of the job, and interns are expected to own a module or service by the end of the programme.
Eligibility: at least 1 year of hands-on engineering experience through internships, full-time roles, co-op programmes or equivalent, with strong fundamentals. Experience with at least one of .NET, C#, Web API or REST; PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL or NoSQL stores such as Cosmos DB or MongoDB; and Git.
This is a full-time, on-site internship at the Hyderabad office.
