Siemens is hiring an engineer to build the retrieval and agent layer behind its enterprise AI solutions. You will build and run RAG pipelines over structured and unstructured company data, set up and tune vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, FAISS or Milvus), and handle chunking, metadata enrichment, embeddings, re-ranking and retrieval guardrails. The role also covers building MCP-based tools and connectors for systems such as Snowflake, MongoDB and SharePoint, adding graph context to multi-step agent workflows, and adding tracing and quality metrics across retrieval and agent runs. Services are deployed on AWS with infrastructure as code, containers and CI/CD. You should hold a degree in computer science, data science or engineering and have 3 to 10 years of experience with retrieval systems, vector search and GenAI applications, with strong backend skills. Permanent role based in Bengaluru, Gurugram or Pune.
