EY's national tax practice in Chennai is hiring an Executive for its accounting and compliance reporting team. The role covers day-to-day accounting across accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and the general ledger, support for month-end and year-end closing with journal entries and reconciliations, and bank, vendor, customer and balance sheet reconciliations. You will help prepare financial statements and schedules, gather documents for statutory and internal audits, and prepare data for TDS returns and GST filings, including purchase and sales registers and RCM reconciliations. MIS reports and variance analysis are also part of the job. Candidates should be M.Com, CA or CMA with about 3 years of experience in accounting, business or financial analysis and a strong grasp of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
