Virtusa is hiring an Associate as QA Automation Engineer in Hyderabad. You will write and run automated test scripts with Selenium to validate web applications, and plan and run performance tests with JMeter to check how responsive and stable those applications are.
You will work with development teams to understand features and testing needs, take part in test planning, test case design and execution, log and track defects until they are fixed and retested, and help improve the team's testing processes.
Must-have skills: strong Selenium knowledge, familiarity with JMeter, and a basic grasp of the SDLC and testing methods. Good to have: Java, Python or JavaScript, Git, and exposure to other automation frameworks.
Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field with 0 to 2 years of experience. Full-time position.
