Emerson is hiring an Applications and Systems Engineer 1 in Pune for a pre-sales and application engineering role. You will work with internal and external customers to understand their application needs and propose the right solution, and prepare quality offers on time together with business development managers, sales, legal, PMO and factory teams.
The role includes pre-sales and technical support to customers, partners and distributors, joining pre- and post-order technical meetings, keeping CRM data up to date, reviewing project requirements carefully and getting approvals before offers go out, and following the Delegation of Authority process.
Eligibility: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering. Strong communication, MS Office skills, multitasking and teamwork are expected. Knowledge of isolation valves, actuators, instrument components, destructive and non-destructive testing, metallurgy or fluid mechanics is a plus. Entry-level, hybrid, full-time.
