You will prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing and storing food, weigh and mix ingredients, and cook dishes to recipe, quality and presentation standards, including cold preparations. Daily work includes using ovens, stoves, grills and fryers, checking that food is properly cooked and at the right temperature, setting up and closing your station, serving correct portions, and cleaning and sanitising the kitchen and equipment. About 1 year of kitchen experience is preferred, and you must follow food safety and workplace safety rules.
