Flex, the global electronics manufacturing partner, is hiring an Associate Engineer for Engineering Change Management at its Chennai site. You will create part numbers, bills of materials and approved vendor lists in the Agile PLM and Baan systems, download and release customer documents such as product specifications, and act as a change analyst for new product introductions. A large part of the job is managing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for manufacturing sites worldwide: creating, reviewing, routing, tracking, releasing and distributing them, studying drawings, and coordinating with process, product engineering and materials teams. You will also answer queries from business partners and customers and help meet process targets. Eligibility: a Diploma or B.Sc. (EEE/ECE) with 0-2 years of experience as an NPI/ECO engineer in a manufacturing setup, preferably in the EMS industry. Knowledge of NPI, ECO and BOM management, hands-on use of PLM software, MS Office and excellent written and spoken English are required. Benefits include paid time off and health insurance.
