3M is hiring an Application Engineer for its Commercial Solutions business (Commercial Branding and Transportation Division) in Bengaluru. 3M Graphics offers printable and coloured film solutions that help brands across banking, rail, fleet and facilities keep a consistent look. In this role you will learn 3M's product range in depth, meet brand owners, channel partners and end customers to recommend the right materials and write specifications, lead technical discussions with key customers, and work with internal teams on market trends and new product ideas. The job involves domestic travel and working at customer locations and sites. Eligibility: a graduate or postgraduate, preferably in Polymer Science, Chemistry or Materials Science, with knowledge of self-adhesive films, polymer chemistry and formulations, product development and lab testing, plus strong communication, planning and MS Office skills.
