Amazon's IN Platform Development team is hiring a Data/BI Engineer in Bengaluru to build data solutions for Amazon India businesses. The team owns the processing of every Amazon India transaction and works to make data easy to access across the marketplace. You will partner with business owners in each focus area and use data to find improvements, building things like business process automation, payment behaviour analysis, campaign analysis, key metrics and failure prediction that support decisions and scale with growth. The job asks for 3+ years of data engineering experience, SQL, data modelling, warehousing and ETL pipeline skills, and at least one language such as Python, Java, Scala or NodeJS. Experience with AWS tools (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda) and big data tools like Spark and Hive is a plus.
