Airbus India is offering a six-month structures internship in the Bangalore area, ideally starting in January 2027 (start date is flexible). The intern supports finite element modelling used for static, fatigue and damage-tolerance analysis of aircraft structures. Work includes building and checking FEM models, keeping them linked to the digital mock-up, choosing suitable FE tools, managing model data, verifying post-processed results, and checking load continuity from global to detailed models. You will also help identify boundary conditions and contacts and contribute to modelling guidelines and verification steps. Useful skills: strong grasp of structural behaviour, FE analysis (Nastran or similar), non-linear and material/failure models. Listed as an entry-level role suited to aerospace, mechanical or civil engineering students.
