ABB's Measurement & Analytics R&D team at the Corporate Technology Center in Bengaluru is hiring a Software Engineer to build digital products and software for measurement devices used in process automation. You will design, code, test and maintain high-performance Windows applications and services, turn requirements into technical solutions, debug and optimise existing code, take part in code reviews, write unit tests and help with performance and memory tuning, working alongside product managers, architects and QA. Candidates need 3–4 years of hands-on C/C++ development for Windows, solid knowledge of OS internals (multi-process and multi-threaded apps), SQL/NoSQL databases such as MS SQL Server, cyber security basics and debugging in Visual Studio. Linux exposure is a plus. A degree in CS, IT, Electronics or a related field is required. Hybrid work model.
