Airbus's Retrofit Solutions team in Customer Services Engineering & Maintenance (Bengaluru) has an internship for a Service Bulletin (SB) designer. You will study design definitions and installation principles for aircraft mechanical and electrical systems, gather source documents and 3D datasets, compare pre- and post-modification solutions, define SB configuration for specific aircraft, estimate access needs and man-hours, and prepare component lists including long-lead items, wiring bundles and placards. You will also coordinate weight and balance and electrical load data, write Service Bulletins in SAMM-DACAS with installation and removal steps, and create technical illustrations from 3D files.
