NielsenIQ is hiring a Backend Engineer in Pune for data collection systems built on web scraping. You will build and maintain scrapers, backend services and APIs, working with product, QA, DevOps and other engineering teams. Must-haves: 3+ years of professional software engineering; deep skill with Python parsing libraries (Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, LXML, Requests); hands-on browser automation with Selenium, Playwright or Pyppeteer; strong PHP development with the CodeIgniter framework; solid PostgreSQL schema design, query optimisation and tuning; and experience designing microservices and RESTful APIs. NielsenIQ also wants people who own projects from concept to delivery, communicate well with remote and local teams, and like fast-paced environments.
