NTT DATA is hiring an entry-level Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1) in Kolkata to keep client networks running. You will monitor client infrastructure, catch errors early, investigate first-line incidents and their root causes, and fulfil requests by following approved procedures. Support is given by phone, ITSM ticket and chat, along with maintenance such as patching and configuration changes and clean shift handovers. You may also support projects and disaster recovery tests and suggest automation. Requirements: basic knowledge of Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Juniper, Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches, ASR/ISR routers, Cisco ACS/ISE, Meraki and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), plus discipline with tickets, SOPs and ITSM tools. Shift-based work, sometimes longer hours.
