Schneider Electric is hiring a Power System Engineer (Engineer I, Electrical Systems Design) in Bengaluru to support industrial and commercial projects. You will carry out power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, arc flash hazard and protection coordination, build system models and recommend engineering solutions using industry software. Requirements: a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; around 2–5 years of power system engineering experience (the posting states 1–5 in places) with these studies; hands-on use of ETAP, SKM Power Tools or EasyPower; basic AutoCAD and the ability to read single-line diagrams and schematics; and a strong grasp of distribution systems and protection schemes. Preferred: protective relays and knowledge of IEEE, IEC, NEC and NFPA standards.
