Siemens is hiring a Service Engineer for automation maintenance at an automobile manufacturing plant, based out of Thane. You will troubleshoot and program Siemens S7-200/300/400/1200 and Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLCs across press, axle, frame and paint shops and test cells, using SIMATIC Manager, TIA Portal and RSLogix. Work includes PLC backups and restores, small program changes to improve machine efficiency, VFD programming and maintenance, HMI fixes, calibration of load cells and instruments, industrial PC care and basic robot troubleshooting, all while following plant safety rules. Requirements: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation with 3–5 years of hands-on automation experience in automobile plants.
