Hitachi Energy is hiring a Buyer in Bengaluru to execute material purchase requests to the right specification, price, delivery schedule and terms, following corporate purchasing policies. You will help identify and qualify new suppliers with quality and engineering specialists, support negotiations with main suppliers, renew price lists and terms, and recommend frame agreements. The role covers analysing bids for best value, sharing market information with bid and proposal teams, tracking deliveries and invoice processing, and monitoring supplier on-time delivery, quality and lead time to resolve issues. Requirements: a graduate or postgraduate degree in any field and 3–5 years of purchasing experience.
