Hitachi Energy is hiring a Shop Engineer at its Savli (Gujarat) factory to turn raw materials and semi-finished parts into finished components on time and to quality. You will operate machines as per manuals and production orders, carry out routine set-ups, adjustments and simple repairs, replace parts, and handle standard equipment maintenance, tool set-up and programming. The work may include quality testing within the production process, following standard operating procedures, keeping a clean work area and reporting any safety non-compliance. Requirements: a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 2–3 years of shop-floor experience, preferably in the transformer industry, and working English.
