Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer in Mumbai to keep electrical, mechanical and fire/life safety equipment in its data centres running within contract parameters. You will handle risk management, corrective and preventive maintenance of critical infrastructure, and on-site management of contractors and vendors so all work follows procedures and local law. You will set performance benchmarks, analyse and report on facility operations and maintenance, and work with data centre operations managers and partners on projects, capacity and plant optimisation. Requirements: 2+ years of experience with critical electrical and mechanical systems such as switchgear, UPS, transformers and circuit breakers; data centre experience is preferred.
