Akamai is hiring a Software Engineer for its Network Operations Systems group, in a remote role based in India. The team builds tools used to deploy and run Akamai’s global network, which carries over 20% of the world’s web traffic. You will analyse, design and implement high-availability systems software, including distributed systems with web and console interfaces, add features to services focused on automation, observability and identity management, and support the full product life cycle from idea to operation. You will also improve testing, deployment and monitoring, and keep an eye on new network automation technologies. Requirements: a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field and at least 0.6 years of programming in Python, Go and/or shell script on Linux/Unix.
