Infineon Technologies is hiring a Young Graduate Trainee in Research & Development at its Bangalore BTP site. The trainee will develop and optimise semiconductor test solutions for new connectivity devices: writing and documenting test plans, designing and debugging test hardware and test programs on Automated Test Equipment (ATE), and carrying out silicon debug and validation. The work uses C/C++ and Python or Perl and involves close coordination with cross-functional teams so products move smoothly from development into mass production. Candidates should have a strong grasp of semiconductor device fundamentals, analog and digital electronics and circuit theory, good debugging and problem-solving skills, programming experience in C/C++, Java or Visual Basic, scripting in Python or Perl, and familiarity with UNIX/Linux and shell scripting. The position is onsite and temporary (fixed-term) and is aimed at fresh graduates.
