Infineon Technologies is looking for an Assistant Engineer in Research & Development at its Bangalore BTP site to support silicon validation and characterisation of microcontroller and SoC products. You will work with the validation and characterisation teams to understand requirements, build test lists and automation suites (software and firmware) for new silicon revisions, and carry out pre-silicon validation on FPGA and post-silicon validation, while helping debug issues and streamline bench testing with Python and LabVIEW. Candidates need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical or a related field and 0–3 years of experience. Hands-on use of SMUs, multimeters, oscilloscopes and signal generators, bench characterisation of analog, digital and mixed-signal IPs, C and Python skills, and knowledge of electronic circuits, regulators and reference measurements are expected; LabVIEW is a plus. The role is onsite and temporary.
