Microsoft's Windows Fundamentals team in Hyderabad is hiring an early-career software engineer (IC2). You will help define metrics, queries and measurement workflows for Windows reliability, performance, responsiveness, power, battery, memory and storage, and develop and test parts of backend services and data pipelines that ingest, transform and monitor telemetry. With guidance from experienced engineers you will analyse telemetry, diagnostics and traces to spot trends, anomalies and regressions, investigate issues with debugging and performance tools, and build automation, dashboards and alerts that catch problems earlier. You will also join design and code reviews. Requirement: a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience) with coding experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript or Python.
