Microsoft is hiring a Security Researcher in India to hunt for attackers across customer environments using telemetry from Microsoft Defender and other security platforms. You will run proactive threat hunts across endpoint, identity, email and cloud data, investigate alerts and suspicious activity, carry out root-cause analysis to work out an attack's scope, sequence and impact, and recommend responses. You will also help find detection gaps and build hunting queries, detections and automation together with security operations, threat intelligence, research, engineering and data science teams. Your findings can feed directly into customer protection and longer-term product improvements. Requirement: a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
