Citi is hiring a data scientist in Gurugram to build deep learning and generative AI solutions for business areas such as marketing, risk, digital and anti-money laundering. You will work with large datasets using Python, PySpark, SQL and Hive; train, fine-tune, validate, deploy and govern models; and build LLM applications using prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and fine-tuning. The role also covers documenting data requirements, data collection and cleaning, exploratory analysis and visualisation, and maintaining models in production with business partners. Requirements: 2-5 years with machine learning and statistical modelling (a bachelor's with 3 years of analytics experience, a master's with 2 years, or a PhD) and experience with ML frameworks; credit card or retail banking exposure is a plus.
