Hitachi is hiring a supplier and contractor qualification specialist in Bengaluru to support procurement. Under supervision you will carry out supplier qualification and audits and raise material purchase requests that meet technical specifications, prices, delivery schedules and terms, in line with corporate purchasing policies. You will help identify new suppliers with category teams, qualify them with supplier quality and engineering specialists, support negotiations with key suppliers, renew price lists and terms, adapt the corporate contract framework to local needs, analyse bids to find the best value, and give market information to bid and proposal teams. Requirements: a graduate or postgraduate degree in any field and 2-3 years of experience. The role is onsite.
