GE Vernova's Engineering Services team in Chennai remotely supports field service staff for its solar and battery storage assets worldwide. This Controls Engineer sits in the Reliability and Root Cause Analysis team and focuses on troubleshooting inverter controls, with growing support for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) unit and plant controls as new sites come online. You will work to improve the functionality, reliability and efficiency of inverters and BESS, help integrate them with other systems in line with industry and GE standards, and support warranty, long-term service agreement and upgrade work after commissioning. Requirements: at least 2 years of experience with inverter control systems; a master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
