Mahindra & Mahindra is hiring a Safety Officer for its Rudrapur plant. You will help develop and improve health, safety and environment (HSE) management systems in line with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 and regulatory requirements, carry out the HSE strategy on site with cross-functional teams, identify workplace hazards and put risk controls in place to prevent accidents and occupational illness, and run safety inspections, audits and hazard assessments with corrective actions. You will also lead incident investigations using root-cause analysis. Requirements: a relevant technical qualification and 3 to 5 years of experience in safety management, including at least 2 years in large-scale manufacturing or chemical industries; automotive, tyre or electronics manufacturing backgrounds are relevant.
